Thankful for Food-Friendly Fits
Hey Sistas!!! Thanksgiving is finally upon us! Yaaaaassss macaroni and cheese!!! Cheers for Dressing and Yams!!! Okay okay…now that I am finished with my Thanksgiving favorites; let’s talk fashion!
Besides being cute and saving our coins we absolutely need to be comfortable. We need to make sure we can get this cheat meal in okkkuurrrr?! Lol. Don’t worry sistas I got you! We got options y’all!
Option 1: In-Law Love
Okay…so you are visiting your in-laws (or soon to be) for the first or first few times. You know before they actually know you and you are still trying to make a good impression. Lol. So let’s go with a nice “Sunday Besssssst” look. You know a pretty seasonal flowy below the knees dress made of great fabric, with a nice cardigan, and a low heel or no heel shoe. Great option right?! I know!!!!
Option 2: No Stress Hostess
For this look you are giving “I Don’t Look Like What I’ve Been Through” all day sista! Meaning “ I Don’t Look Like I….”
– Spent the last month scrubbing every nook and cranny with a toothbrush, even the dog’s nooks and crannies! Ha!
– Spent the last month shopping online and city wide for these secret ingredients. Shhhh!
– Woke up at 4 to start preparing for family/company at 2, and the fire alarm won’t stop going off. True story! But we will talk about that at another time sistas!
Drumroll please…all that’s needed for this look is tights and your favorite Thanksgiving graphic shirt or sweatshirt. That easy sistas! Don’t forget some lip gloss, and a pretty updo!
Option 3: Fitted Family
Last look is for those of us who need to ensure our family is not looking a hot mess, or I mean we want to be coordinated. Hee Hee. Don’t worry this look is stress free. Just grab their shirt sizes, decide on a festive shirt, and grab one for everyone. Let everyone pair their shirt with their favorite jeans, and you have a coordinated family! You can even grab a matching shirt for the family dog! And if you are “Patty the Planner” you already have the meals and everything else prepared. In this case, we are very happy for you and rolling our eyes. LOL. Ms. Patty you can grab your own set of shirts and your cricut and make your own family festive shirts, and please let us know when you do so we can place an order! HA!
All in all sistas, remember to relax and be thankful for your family, friends, fellowship, and food.
Save those coins and Splurge on love Sistas!
